Ingredients
200gof raw sunflower seeds without shell previously soaked in hot water for 30 minutes
2tablespoonsof lemon juice
100mlof water(or less)
1/2teaspoonof salt
4tablespoonsof nutritional yeast flakes
1cloveof garlic
1/2teaspoonof turmeric powder(optional)
15gof fresh chives
Instructions
rinse the soaked sunflower seeds and put them in food processor together with lemon juice, salt, nutritional yeast, crushed garlic and, if used, turmeric powder;
add half of the indicated amount of water and blend everything together by stopping occasionally to scrape down the sides of the container. If the mixture is too thick, add gradually one tablespoon of water at a time and continue blending until you reach the desired consistency;
chop the chives and mix them in the cream cheese with a spoon – do not use the food processor for this step!
