Vegan puff pastry apple buns

    Ingredients
    • 12pieces of vegan puff pastry(size of each piece: ~13×13 cm/5×5”)
    • 2 apples
    • 3tablespoons of sugar
    • 1teaspoon of cinnamon
    • 2tablespoons of oil
    Instructions
    1. heat the oven to 185°C/365°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper;
    2. from every puff pastry piece create an envelope by folding three corners so that they point to the center (for visual demonstration, check the pictures). Place the prepared envelopes on the baking tray;
    3. peel the apples, cut them in thin slices and sprinkle over them a bit of cinnamon;
    4. place approximately 4 – 5 apple slices in each puff pastry envelope, brush the puff pastry with oil and sprinkle over it some sugar;
    5. bake the prepared buns in preheated oven for 12 – 15 minutes or until golden brown.
